Homeselect.rs is a website dedicated to listing and promoting real estate. For this large project, we implemented a comprehensive Performance Marketing service. To achieve the Partner’s goal of increasing the portal’s visibility and visitors, we used specific social media strategies, targeted PPC campaigns, and SEO optimisation strategies that collectively contributed to the ultimate goal: positioning the portal on Google’s first page.
Autumn 2022 – Project Start
We took over their website, which at that time had an average of 300-400 daily visitors.
Our goal was to reach 3,000-4,000 daily visits within six months, working within a defined daily budget.

Project Background
A young team approached us with the aim of capturing the real estate market in Serbia, wanting to improve their visibility in Google search results. They had previously engaged a marketing agency with good references, but the results were unsatisfactory. They found our company when they needed a change, and we began discussions in Autumn 2022. The project was officially taken over later that year.
At the Start…
The website did not rank within the top 50 pages on Google search results. Daily traffic was only around 300-400 visitors. They had Facebook and Instagram profiles but with a low number of followers. Backlink building had not yet been initiated. Google Ads were the only channel bringing them results. This was our starting point.
Challenges We Faced…
SEO Limitations
Regarding SEO, the site had only undergone technical SEO improvements, which alone was insufficient for achieving higher search rankings. SEO consists of three components that had not yet been implemented: technical SEO, on-site SEO, and backlink network development (off-site SEO). The missing elements resulted in poor ranking.
Algorithm Blocking
Their social media profiles had a significant number of fake followers on Instagram, which negatively affected algorithm engagement. The Facebook profile also had few followers, resulting in low reach and engagement.
Action Plan to Overcome Challenges
Since the website’s success and growth in the real estate market primarily depended on online visibility, it was crucial to improve and expand its digital presence to the maximum.
SEO
We conducted a comprehensive analysis of the entire website using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
After generating reports from these tools, we prioritised addressing the main issues. In addition to technical improvements, we created a blog section and began optimising website content. We focused on topics with high daily search volume on Google.
Backlink Building
At the same time, we started building a network of backlinks, obtaining 8-10 monthly links of various Domain Rating (DR) values on Google. After three months, the site began ranking for an increasing number of keywords. Although there was still much work to reach the first page, the results indicated we were moving in the right direction.
Social Media Marketing & Meta Ads
We rebuilt their social media presence from scratch.
We deleted the existing profiles and created new ones to avoid the negative effects of past activity. This quickly showed results, as we identified Facebook as the platform where their target audience was most active. Currently, the Facebook profile has over 5,000 followers, with a monthly reach of 500,000. Through Facebook, the site receives 2,000-3,000 daily clicks. This was all achieved within an optimised budget.
We also launched TikTok and YouTube profiles to ensure the portal had a presence across all relevant social platforms. Video content offers longer algorithmic lifespan compared to images.
Google Ads
With Google Ads, we implemented strategic financial optimisation to achieve the same results at reduced costs compared to a higher budget.
Achieved Results
The site now receives 4,000-5,000 daily visits. Traffic channels include Google Ads, organic search, and various social media platforms.
Google DR Score: 22
Keywords Ranking: Over 10,000 keywords, with many reaching the first page of Google.
